I’ve never understood the logistics of the mini stroopwaffels.
The full size ones are that diameter so they can sit on top of your coffee so the heat warms the inside (traditionally honey) and the steam slightly softens the waffle part.
This is a bit more important when you aren’t getting a fresh one still warm with the coffee, of course - so kinda critical for something you might be buying prepackaged from here (or anywhere else online as opposed to a street vendor).
But the minis aren’t even the right size for an expresso shot, so how are you supposed to prep them properly.
I guess that qualifies them to be perfectly meh, like I have found almost all stoopwaffels outside of the Netherlands to be.
